Our team is very pleased to announce the arrival of our first ever logo! When we started our website, we were looking to provide an identity for our coverage and we were able to get help from the very talented Xav Ouellette who hooked us up with this awesome logo!
It represents our identity here at Between The Sticks very well, with the presence of many things close to us here on the site. We have the Maple Leaf to showcase our strong Canadian roots, combined with the Whitecaps colours to showcase our pride for the Caps. The supporter in the logo is a reminder to us that we are supporters at heart and that is what brings us together. Between the sticks has many meanings for us, ranging from what goes on from goal to goal every week, to the philosophical nature of the goalkeeping position, or as we saw here with the fan holding up the tifo and bringing support to every match and Xav was able to represent that very accurately through our logo.
